Goguen Lumber got started in the late 1940's by Eric Goguen and his wife, Florence Goguen. For a long time, the company was known under the name: Eric Goguen and Sons, which started as a portable sawmill, then later on stayed permanent at it's current location on route 535 in Cocagne, New-Brunswick.
Their 5 boys: Ola, Leonard, Rheal, Yvon and Jean are all involved in the company, which employs around 30 employees each year.
A third generation of the Goguen Family is now involved in the company.
Goguen Lumber a commencé à la fin des années 1940, par Eric Goguen et son épouse Florence Goguen. Pour longtemps, la compagnie était connue sous le nom de Eric Goguen et Fils, qui a vue ses début comme un moulin portable, qui, par la suite, fut localisé pour de bon à son endroit actuel sur la route 535, à Cocagne, au Nouveau-Brunswick.

Leurs cinq garçons; Ola, Leonard, Rheal, Yvon et Jean sont tous impliqués dans l'entreprise qui embauche environs une trentaine d'employés chaques années.
Une troisième génération de la famille Goguen est maintenant impliquée dans la compagnie.
